Obituary
Tara Nichol Hanson, 27, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Billings Clinic. She was born July 15, 1984 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, the daughter of Brian and Terry (Radke) HansonTara had her first heart transplant when she was fifteen. In 2004 she met the love of her life, Angel Alvarado and they had a son Keegan. She had her second heart transplant on St. Patrick's Day 2011. Tara enjoyed 4-wheeling, shopping, and many outdoor activities. She was an avid Vikings fan and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. She enjoyed being the oldest in the family and spoiled her brother and sister. Tara was loving, kind, considerate, beautiful, tough and strong. Tara is survived by her husband, Angel; son Keegan; parents; brother Aaron (Jasmine); sister Leah (Tim); grandparents Glen and Sandy Vandegrift, Daniel and Judy Hanson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tara will be sadly missed by the people she touched throughout her years. Service: Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral Services will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Dahl Chapel. Memorials may be made to Tara Hanson Fund, Valley Federal Credit Union.

To All of Tara's family, we send our prayers, love, & hugs for the loss of tara, i never got to meet her, but i knwo she was a beautiful woman~ i was in the group home with her mother when she was a teenager, an Terry's mother Sandy~ taught me alot about life, family an takin care of myself an my children, i am proud to have known them, wish we could kept in better contact over the years~ God now has a very beautiful angel in heaven watchin over us all~ you will always be loved an never forgotten Tara<3

I'm very sorry for your family's loss. Tara was obviously an amazing person with much strength. Please be comforted by the bible's message. Isaiah 25:8 says that God will "swallow up death forever and... will wipe the tears from all faces".

I have known Tara for many years. OF course she was beautiful, kind, and loving. However, it was her unyielding strength that always inspired me. You would never know by looking at Tara or meeting her for the first time, that she ever had a heart condition. She did not let it define her, it was more or less just a cross she had to bear. Her strength and perseverance was inspiring to me. She was genuine and nonjudgmental which is a rarity in the world we live in. She truly was an angel here on earth. Brian, Terry, Angel, Keegan, Leah, Aaron, Sandy and Glen- My heart, prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of deep sorrow.
