Obituary
On 12/31/2016 Ronald A. Harris left his earthly body. Ron was born 6/2/1962 to Ted (T.K.) Harris and Delores Harris. He graduated from Billings West High School and soon after began a lengthy career as a long haul truck driver. He leaves a legacy of kindness and caring for all that knew him. Ron is survived by his wife Leilani, his children Mikel, Tymri and Kenna Knick, mother Delores Harris, sister Jan (Cary) Cook, brother Doug, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Ted Sr. and brother Ted Jr. There will be a service on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center, located at 2929 Belvedere Dr., Billings, Mt, 59102 with a luncheon and fellowship following at the church. Memorials and condolences can be sent to the church or to Dahl Funeral Chapel, 10 Yellowstone Ave., Billings, Mt. 59101.

My condolences to you and your family for the loss of your dear loved one. Losing a loved one is a distressing and painful time. We have assurance from God’s word at Psalm 34:18 that he is near to those brokenhearted and he saves those crushed in spirit. It is my hope that your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.

What a wonderful picture of Ron! He was always smiling and had a love for family! I will miss him so much! Prayers to his family, including Aunt Delores, Jan and Doug; you have been through so much... So many memories, keep them near to your heart and I hope they help you through this difficult time! From the Simmons family: Remembering Ron with fondness. He was a wonderful man and always had a huge smile and genuine interest in our family. He really loved His family. He had such a sweet and gentle spirit. We are very saddened to hear of his passing. We have many great memories of goofing off with Ronny in our teenage years. He will be missed. I met Ron at Will James Junior High School and spent most of my teen years with him, Kevin, Andy and Bobby. I possess many wonderful memories.... The first thing that comes to my mind is Ron's infectious smile and laughter which always made me happy. The second thing I think of is about all the cars he went through during those years! I must admit, there were a few times he scared the hell out of me with his adventurous nature but I always trusted him. ( Besides, they wouldn't let me out of the car when we were out in the middle of nowhere!) Though time and life have moved us on different paths we have always been friends and always will be. Those I love and care about are always held close to my heart no matter how much time or distance there is between us. May the Peace of Our Lord be with us all as you gather to celebrate Ron's life and know my Love and Prayers are with you also. I do believe we have all been blessed with a new Guardian Angel.
