Obituary
Robert Emerson Harris, 91, passed away Friday August 25, 2017. Bob was born and grew up in Kenmare, North Dakota. It was there that he received his education. He served our country as a Sgt. in the Army (Korea) and then in the Reserves for 5 years. Robert and Patricia Elizabeth Zeis united in marriage on October 15, 1956. They lived in Billings MT where he worked at Kon's Super Market and IGA as a Meat Department Manager and Meat Cutter. He also resided in Minot, ND, Stanley, ND and Casper, WY. Hunting, fishing, woodworking and anything to do with the great outdoors were his interests and hobbies. Robert is survived by his wife Patricia E. Harris; his daughter Peggy (Tim) Koch; his son Grant (Shelly) Harris; his daughter-in-law Iola Harris; his grandsons Jeremiah and Benjamin Harris, and Alex and Calvin Koch; his granddaughter Kennedee Burk; great-grand children Avery and Jack Harris and Liberty and Jaxon Harris. He was preceded in death by his son Gregory Harris; his daughter Cathlene Harris; his parents Arthur and Lily Ann Harris; his sisters Audrey Opitz and Carol Olson; his brothers Roger and Dale Harris. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in Yellowstone National Cemetery at 12 pm on August 31, 2017. My Uncle Bobby was a sweet, caring, fun loving man. He was a lot of fun and often acted like one of the kids. He also got picked on a lot by any or several of his 15 nieces and nephews. So we deserved any backlash from the torment we put him through. I will miss his great smile, his wonderful giggle and his many stories of his fishing trips with his children. Uncle Bobby you will be missed! Love you, Tootsie

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
