Obituary
Helen Haugan, 72, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at RiverStone Hospice House. She was born on June 12, 1940 to Clementine and Adam Schutzman in Fromberg, MT. Helen attended Fromberg schools where she met Arthur Haugan, Sr. and the two wed on May 20, 1961. The couple had two children, Arthur, Jr. and Chad. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Art, of 38 years. She is survived by sons, Art, Jr. (Chris) and Chad; brother, Fred (Rose) Schutzman; and many nieces, nephews and very dear friends. The family would like to thank the Marquis Grand Park Assisted Living and RIverStone Hospice teams for their wonderful care of mom. Service: Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm with funeral services on Friday at 1:00 pm, both will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow funeral service in Mountview Cemetery.

Art, Chris & Chad, Your mother was one of my dearest friends. I am sure both you boys remember our great times together as the two of you and our three kids were all growing up. I was just thinking last week about one of our camping trips to Cooke City, gathering musherooms and of course cooking plenty of such good food. So sorry to hear of her passing. God Bless you all. Thank you for letting me know about your mother. From the first time I met your mother I knew she would be my best friend for whatever time we had together. We had so many things in common. We always found something to laugh about; She said she would be waiting for me. She was so brave. I loved her with all my heart. Sorry I could not make it to her service for one last goodby.
