Scott Hennager

Scott R. Hennager, 51, of Big Timber, MT died in a motorcycle accident August 27th, Saturday evening. Scott was born on April 17th 1965, in Cloquet, MN to Dave and Gayle Hennager. He was the oldest of four siblings, his sister Shelly, his two brothers, Chad and Jeff, and a half-brother, Ryan. He spent his younger childhood in Moose Lake, MN where he liked playing outdoors, building forts and normal boyhood mischief. He started his first job at the age of 12 delivering newspapers. At age 13 he and his family moved to Greybull, WY where he attended high school. Shortly after high school he joined the Army. He made many friends throughout his life and different occupations, his latest working for Stillwater Mining Company. He lived life to the fullest and had many hobbies. He liked fishing, hiking, being outdoors and also enjoyed shooting his guns and hunting prairie dogs. But there was nothing he loved more than riding his Harley through the mountains with his friends. In 1983 he married Carole Herren in Cody, WY and they shared 26 years of marriage together and also had two daughters, Alyssa, born in 1989, and Ashley, born in 1992. Scott is survived by his two daughters, Alyssa and Ashley Hennager; three granddaughters, Layla, Harmony and Hailee; father, David Hennager and mother Gayle Hennager; sister, Shelly(Lee); brothers, Chad(April), Jeff(Elaine) and Ryan(DeAnna); and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A Celebration of Scott's life will be held at 4 pm on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Big Timber American Legion.
