Obituary
Nancy K. Henry, 60, of Billings passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness surrounded by her family on July 6, 2013. May she rest peacefully in the hands of our Lord. Nancy was born in Buffalo, Wyoming and grew up in Wyoming on the family homestead. She married the love of her life Michael in 1974 on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her years spent in Hawaii with her husband held a special meaning living, loving and sharing in a paradise. Nancy was a caring and loving person with her husband, two daughters and the other family members she was particularly close to. She would do anything for her family; her strength and love showed in all she did. She passed these strengths and morals along to her daughters, which she was very proud of. She is survived by her husband Michael of 39 years; her children, Tanya, Shasta and son-in-law Terry; a sister Paula; brother Richard (Carla); numerous nephews and nieces. She had cousins stretching all over the USA and Germany who all kept in touch with her. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth and father Gene. Memorials may be made in Nancy's name to Pancreatic Cancer Research. Till we meet again in the hereafter our love and thoughts will be of you always and forever. Many thanks to the staff at Billings Clinic ICCU for all of the comfort and care they provided. Service: Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12 at Mountview Cemetery.

We were shocked to hear of Nancy's passing. Nancy had a good heart. Every year she would organize a Easter Egg Hunt for the neighborhood children, even tho she had no young children or grand children of her own. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Michael and family, I heart goes out to you. I am very sorry for your loss. Nancy worked at our school in our lunchroom. Each day I saw her when I would bring my kindergarten class to lunch. She always had a family update to share and she was very proud of her family! We enjoyed many giggles over the little kindergarten students trying to be "big kids" at lunch time. I appreciated how Nancy took the time to always take to the children as they ate lunch! I ate lunch with my class each day to help build manners and lunchroom skills. Last fall, I had a student teacher. My student teacher and I brought cold lunch to eat with the kids. ONce day, Nancy surprised my student teacher with a "hot" lunch from Taco John's!
