Josephine Houser

Josephine A. Houser, 98, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 at her home in Billings, Montana. She was born December 21, 1913 in Bearcreek, Montana, the daughter of Louis and Josephine Kuhar. She graduated from Bearcreek High School and then went to business school in Billings. She worked for an attorney and the Keil Co. On February 14, 1943 Josephine was united in marriage to Lester E. Houser in Billings. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1946 and went into business for himself where she worked beside him. They sold Houser Home Center and retired in 1975. Josephine was preceded in death by a son, parents, and 2 brothers. She is survived by her sister Mary of Big Timber; many nieces and nephews. Service: Graveside burial of ashes will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Mountview Cemetery.
