Obituary
Diane Kay Hraban peacefully left this world to be with Christ on December 23, 2017, in Billings, Montana. Her soul lives on with God forever. She was born to Leslie and Ella Claycamp on December 2, 1953, in Concordia, Kansas. Diane is the youngest of five children and a twin. She loved her family: Carol (Dick) Tirrell (both deceased), Duane (Trudy), Janet (Gerald) Duncan, and her twin brother Dean (Paula). Diane's love and family grew through her marriage to Tom Hraban on December 27, 1975, in Manhattan, Kansas. Diane enjoyed and loved her new family including Maxine and Rudy (parents), Judy (Bob) Shipman, Linda (Russ) Martin, Mike (Valerie), Jerry (Janet), Chris (Don) Douglas. Diane was the loving mother to four children and six grandchildren. Diane has said, "My love and children are my legacy." Diane's children include: David Hraban, Amanda (Mike) Wiles, Karrie (Amir) Ghazi with children Aria and Kamron, Brian (Sarah) Hraban and sons Aedan, Eli, Noah and Isaac, of Billings. Celebration of Diane's life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Faith Chapel. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com

Prayers have been flowing from us for all the family. We are thankful Diane was brought into our lives so many years ago. She was the first one that came and greeted us to show us around at Awana when we move back to Ponca City those many years ago. Tom and kids, I’m not sure what words I could say to ease your pain after Diane’s passing. She was a special friend to me. One I could count on to make me laugh. One I could make music with on the piano (we had so much fun doing duets, etc.). One who taught me so much about living a Christian life. I’ll miss her. As will so many she came in contact with. Praying God’s comfort and peace to surround all of you in the days ahead. May you have many fun and happy memories of your sweet wife and mom!

We wanted to share our condolences with Diane’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

When David, Amanda, and Karrie were in junior high in Ponca City, I was their chorus teacher. I enjoyed so much having them in my classes but also enjoyed very much getting to know Diane. She was a mom who truly loved and supported her kids and was an active participant as a chorus parent. I was blessed to have known her and send my thoughts, prayers, and blessings to the family.
