Lots of wonderful memories of Pat. May she rest in peace knowing she did good in this world.

Patty was a Bright Star that was always shining, EVERY time I saw her. To Mark and Tim, I know that no matter how old you are, you are never really ready to let go of your Mom. To Aunt Kay, I know the loss of your best friend and partner in crime is devastating. I am praying that God brings you all comfort and Peace in the knowledge that this wonderful lady is no longer suffering and that you will see her again, someday. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Pat brought lots of laughter, joy, energy, caring, compassion and concern to this world. Sincere kindness and acceptance were other gifts she shared with those she encountered. She loved her family, friends and community so much, and was truly loved in return by so many. She made everyone feel very special... You always had the time for a kind word or some great conversation My husband and I loved the times we would come in from Canada and you would take the time ouy of your busy day to golf with us . I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that Mark, Tim and the Jaffray family and friends are feeling because of losing Patty recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." I had hoped to meet Pat's sons to tell them this story. I have the greatest respect for Pat because of something she did about 20 +- years ago. I had listed for sale her Bed & Breakfast . An offer came in from Planned Parenthood. I presented the offer to Pat, telling her that I could not accept a commission involving Planned Parenthood, because I saw that commission as " blood money".
