Thomas Job

GLENDIVE, MONTANA: Thomas S. Job, 86, of Billings, MT, formerly of Glendive, MT, passed away at his home on July 19, 2018. Private family services and burial are planned. Tom was born on May 7, 1932 in Wibaux, MT to Domminick and Kathrine (Schaan) Job. He was raised and educated in the Wibaux community. He was in the US Navy from 1952-1956. After he was discharged, he moved to Glendive and married Esther Zinda at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wibaux on September 18, 1956.They had 6 kids. He worked as a ranch hand, in the lumber yard business and as a self-employed contractor. Tom liked to read, listen to EWTN and country music, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. His Catholic faith was very important to him and sustained him and was a source of peace for him while he was dying. Tom is survived by his 6 kids, Anita (Butch) Spencer of Glendive, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Job of Lake Tapps, WA, Gerald Job of Glendive, Steve (Mary) Job of Billings, Tommy Job of Billings and Trina Job of Billings; his grandkids, Melissa (Scott) Buxbaum and Mandi Spencer, of Glendive, Corey Spencer of Billings, Carissa (John) Hudson of SD, Matt Job of WA, Kelly (Steve) Linder of Glendive, Josh Job of Billings, Abby and Kylie Job of Billings and step-granddaughter BJ Spencer of Billings; 11 great-grandkids; his sisters Annie Pearson of Minnesota, Agnes Miesaloski of Beach, ND, and Olivia Jimison of Glendive; brother and sister-in-law, Curt and Ilene Cale of Wibaux; sister-in-law June Paul of Beach, ND, brother-in-law Wayne Kamemer of Clinton, MT, and sister-in-law, Toshiko Job of Puyallup,WA, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers, Frank, Leonard, Louie, Ralph and Dominik Job; his sisters, Eva Parker, Marie Kamemer, Rosie Walsh, Caroline Schuhrke and Katherine Zinda. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their support for us and their loving care of our dad. Without them, we would not have been able to honor his wish to stay home. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
