Donald King

Donald Dale King, 86, died peacefully in his Billings, MT home on October 20, 2018. A veteran of the Korean War and with over 30 years of sobriety. King was born on May 22, 1032 in Wichita, KS to Dale and Evelyn King. In 1948, he joined the armed forces and was assigned to the Marine Corps base camp in Oklahoma City, OK. He was wounded in 1950 and awarded the Purple Heart. He was discharged with full honors in May of 1951. King was a brave and loyal soldier, a patient and loving father, as well as a dedicated photo engraver and gunsmith, which he later retired from. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his daughters, Valerie and Teresa; his sons, Michael and Dale; and his grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at the Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, MT at 2:00pm on November 13, 2018. The service will be honored by the Marine Corps. Funeral arrangements are provided by the VA.
