Jeanette Knote

Jeanette Marcella Knote, age 88, of Billings, Montana passed away on September 29, 2012 surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born in Maddock, North Dakota on November 7, 1923, to Helmer and Matilda Olson. She married Donald Knote on September 26, 1942 in Maddock. Together they raised five children. Jeannette was well known for her lefse, chocolate chip cookies, Swedish meatballs, and grandma's cheese hot dogs. She was always ready to sit down and play a game. Jeanette is survived by her five children, Junice (Ronnie) Wooten, LeRoy (Judy) Knote, Russell Knote, and Richard 'Moe' (Tina) Knote of Billings, and Robert (Diane) Knote of Dickinson, North Dakota; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great- grandchildren; sisters Mavis Ambers, Marlys Chrissis, and brother Noran 'Stanley' (Agnes) Olson all still living in North Dakota; and 2 sisters-in-law. Preceding Jeanette in death was her husband, Donald (2005), 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, October 4th, at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Billings. Burial of ashes will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
