Obituary
DeEtta June Carlin Krank died on June 27, 2011 unexpectedly due to complications during surgery. She was born to Lucille (Rousseau) Carlin Fisher and Edward A. Carlin in Eagle Butte, South Dakota on June 15, 1938. They moved to the Seattle area before settling in Billings. Over the years Dee lived in several Montana communities and Deadwood, South Dakota. Loving Mother to Brian Horner and Kristin Krank (Isaac Lion Shows); Grandmother to Nicole and Pam Horner and Whitney and SaVanna Bloomberg; Great-Grandmother to two; Sister to Patty Swainson and Naomi (Tim) OConnell; “Auntie Detta” to Kimberly Swainson, Bret Swainson, Patrick (Leslie) OConnell and George Taylor Love. Dee was a hard worker, taking care of others her entire life. She was fun loving and very family oriented. In recent years, she enjoyed many travels to family reunions, including her first visit to the Oregon coast last year. She was proud of her Sioux heritage. DeEtta was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Colleen Fisher. We will miss her terribly. Service: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patricks Co-Cathedral in Billings on Friday, July 1 at noon, with a family memorial at a later date.
