John Kuhlman

At the age of 74, Jack Kuhlman of Huntley died at Saint Vincent HealthCare in Billings on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Jack was born April 29, 1937 in Billings the son of Fred and Fay (Merrifield) Kuhlman. In 1955, he graduated from Billings Senior High School. On June 3, 1959 Jack was united in marriage to Vada Magers in Roundup, MT. Hobbies included working crossword puzzles and doing jigsaw puzzles on the computer. He loved the outdoors and took the family camping where he taught the children to love and respect the outdoors. He taught his children how to fish and his son how to hunt. One of his favorite pastimes was writing letters, corresponding with many of his family and friends. Jack leaves behind his wife of nearly 52 years, Vada; daughters: Jackie (Bart) DeGarmo of La Pine, OR, Cara Kuhlman of Billings, Arleen (Gary) Novasio of Billings; son Charlie (Diane) Kuhlman of Dillon, MT; grandchildren: Aaron (April) Craig, J.D. (Rochelle) Kuhlman, Isaac Kuhlman, Rita (Brian) Kuhlman, Tanner (Lyndsey) Miller, Joshua (Michelle) Smith, Bill (Kelly) Smith, Kenny (Krissy) Smith, Crystal (Eric) Stanley, Yvonne Novasio, Nina Novasio, Heather Daniel; great-grandchildren: Faith Smith, Kaidence Smith, Hayden Smith-Daniel, Isabella Smith, Grace Smith, Layla Kuhlman, Jocia Fehrman, Jamie Fehrman, Farrah Fehrman, Christian Turner, Mathias Novasio, Pepper Parker, Tobias Stanley, Madison Smith. His parents and his brother Fred A Kuhlman preceded him in death. Memorials: Memorials may be made in Jacks name to the Billings Catholic Schools, Paul Magers Scholarship Fund, Box 31158, Billings 59107. Cemetery: Private family burial of ashes will be at a later date. Service: Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
