My deepest condolences to Doris and the Lagaly family. I will miss Dick's wit, charm and wisdom. In the short time that I have know him, he has made a great impact on me and the type of man I have become. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

When I look back on the years I worked at Eastern Montana College the memory of working with Dick always makes me smile. Even though a visit from him usually meant that something needed to be fixed it was always fun to see him. His ready smile and easy going personality made him one of the best co-workers I have ever had the pleasure of being around. Thank you Dick for all you gave to Billings. Cathy (Pike) Jensen

I delivered mail to Dick & Doris, for about nine years. Dick was a very friendly individual, & was always busy doing something, in the garage, or his yard. If Dick would drive by me, he always waved & had a big smile.
One thing Dick would talk to me about, was his grandchildren. He really enjoyed watching his grandson play baseball, & I recall his favorite team, being the Seattle Mariners. My heart goes out to Doris, & her family!

One of the best buddies to have at Fratt Memorial. Dick was always the go to guy whenever things got boring. Sometimes our fun would wind up in the court of Sister Matilda, the principal at Fratt. I always enjoyed seeing him whenever I visited Billings adding more to the pleasure of visiting my hometown. Dick's mother played an important role in our 8th grade play at Fratt by sewing an elephant suit together using a hat box for the head that I wore in the play. Must be the heredity where Dick developed his skills. I was impressed when he became a cop as that was the same profession I chose in life. It's sad to know that he won't be with us anymore especially for the joy that he brought to everyone in his life. The world needs more people like him. Dick Kraske - Seattle
