Cathy, Steve and Byron I'm so very sadden at the death of your dear mother and my wonderful friend, Louise. She was like a second mother to me when we lived in Billings all those years ago. I was a very young mother myself and she took me under her wing teaching me so much about genealogy, running a meeting and friendship. I have wonderful memories of our trips to SLC together and all the laughs we shared. I will so miss her letters always full of news of each of you and her grandchildren, whom she adored. She gave so much of herself and I'll miss her wonderful smile and chatter. God bless her now that she's back with her, Joe. I send each of you my sympathy with love.

I was surprised to read about Louise's passing. I attend Grace United Methodist Church with Louise. Louise always came to church with a smile. She sat close to my mother. I tried to call her a couple weeks ago because I had missed seeing her in church and left a message on her machine. I enjoyed the times I got to visit with her and will miss seeing her walk in the door. Shirley Collins

Louise and my mom sat together in church every Sunday until my mom went to a nursing home. She was so good to Mom . I so appreciated her kindness. Nan Jones (Marge Flynn's daughter)

Just found about the passing of dear Louise. What a treasure..... a great lady! When we'd run into one another - usually at the library where she volunteered, we'd find ourselves reminiscing. There are so many wonderful, fun memories of our several car "caravans" to Salt Lake City's genealogy library, which had in large part been organized by her. It seemed that she never slowed down, always serving others. Louise always had a joyful air about her, and her smile was contagious. We're all going to miss her! Corky Knebel

The members of Shining Mountain DAR are deeply saddened by the loss of Louise. Many, many of of us today are members of this organization due to the hard work and help that Louise provided as we did the necessary genealogy to join. Her final contribution to our group this year was leading a group of quilters to put together a star celebration quilt for April 2020 DAR state convention. Leslie Boothroyd , Regent
