Verne Barthuly

I Didn't know Verne personally but when I saw her Face and wearing a Nurses Cadet Corp uniform and the date she entered Nurses Training, I knew I had seen her before in 2 Group Photos of My Mother (Edna Engen Matz who was also in Nurses Training with Verne during that Time Frame. The one photo is all the Nurses in a Group with the House Mother apparently elegantly dressed for a function that evening Verne is on the far right of the front row close to my Mother who is to the right of the House Mother. The other photo is all of the Nurses in their Cadet Corp Uniforms standing on the front steps of Marillac Hall next to St. V's. My mother who passed last October 2018 @ 92 still knew most of the names of the Nurses in that Photo. If the Family doesn't already have these 2 8x 10 photos I would be glad to share them and have Copies made for them. I had thought my Mother was the last surviving member of those Nurses before she passed last October but I was apparently mistaken. They all looked so young and beautiful in the one House Photo, Hard to believe almost all are gone now, Time doesn't stand still for anyone....R.I.P.
