Loved Vi! When I was much younger, and she probably the age I am now; I so admired her for trying new things and staying up to date with the time. She was into computers and learned how to use one and to email. I was so impressed. She was always kind to me, and was a positive person. My deepest sympathies to the family! Sending you all love and healing light. Prayerfully, Martha Krueger

I only met her once, and sadly, it was at her sons funeral. Mike was just a great guy and after meeting his mom, it was easy to understand why. She was so sweet and cordial under difficult circumstances. She and Mike are having a great time in heaven.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your mom so much. I loved her smile-it lit up her whole face! I will never forget her shaking her bananas at me💖

We Lambert’s grew up with the Lemieux’s and have many fond memories of school, church and and community functions. Each one of us had one of Vi’s kids in our class, either in our immediate family or through grandma and grandpa Lambert (aunts and uncles). I still remember Loretta, and although at a very young age, she was one of my friends in first grade! I have vivid memories of her in school and remember the days that led up to her succumbing to cancer. Linda, Robin, and Mike were classmates of ours and not only did we meet up in school, but church was another prominent location for congregating. The Lemieux’s had their church pews and we Lambert’s - our own! And nobody dared sit in our sections at St. Anthony’s or there was hell to pay! LOL. For a short time, I worked with Vi at the Culbertson school and she was such a nice lady; very polite, always sharing stories of her past - all of which, made an indelible impression on me. I will remember her as a wise and friendly person who would help anyone in need. Rest In Peace!

I was saddened to learn of Viola's passing. I am a long time friend of her daughter, Marge. Unfortunately, I don't have a current address/phone number for her. Marge, please accept my condolences-may your memories and faith sustain you now and in the days ahead. You can find me on Facebook if you wish to re-connect. Sue Watterson Johnson
