Donna Love

On Tuesday morning, February 13th, our Mom peacefully went home to her family. To meet her there were her parents, Jack Sayler, May Blom and Roy Blom. She was also met by her four sisters, Dolly Cathcart, Carmen Uecker, Phyllis Blom and Carol Larson and her little brother, Sonny Blom. She also now holds her grandsons, Jordan Sannon and August Bohlinger in her arms. She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Carl Love; the luckiest children on earth, Shellie Sannon (Jim) Billings, MT, Sherrie Love Bohlinger (John) Billings, MT, Shauna Love-von Knoblauch (Jeremy) Panama City, FL, Sheyn Love (Sabra) Nashville, TN, and a very special “almost daughter” Jacqueline Richey (Jeff) Billings, MT. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Jarred Sannon (Amber), Jenson Sannon (Marcie), Jamison Sannon, India Richey (Xerxes), Gunnar Richey, Helmüt vonKoblauch, Colleen Love and Rowan Love; and many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own. When she married Carl she was welcomed into the Love family with open arms and she loved them in return. Donna was born to May and Jack Sayler March 28, 1936. She lost her father before the age of one. When she was four, Roy Blom became her stepfather. She grew up in the tiny town of Lignite, ND where she was a cheerleader and graduated Salutatorian of her class. She came to Billings to visit her sister Dolly and met Carl Love - he told his family when they first met that he was going to “marry that girl” and he did. They spent 62 loving years together. Donna grew up in the Church of God and attended church her whole life. She also worked at Colburn's School Supply for 44 years. They resided in Billings Heights and through the years she made many wonderful friends. Donna Love was a Gift from Above and whether she came from the realm of Angles or Saints, we can't be certain, but we know that anyone she touched was blessed by a sprinkling of Heaven.
