Maebeth Batten

Maebeth Ann Batten passed away on May 25, 2019 in Billings, MT. She was born May 29, 1939 to Donald & Gladys (Noreen) Dolbec, in Minneapolis, MN. She was one of five daughters. The family moved to Bethesda, MD where she made lifelong friends, Gladys and Johnnie in the 5th and 6th grade. The family returned to Minnesota then moved to Wisconsin where she met and married Elwood Cleasby in 1957 where they raised four children in Riverfalls, WI. The family moved to Billings in 1969. Beth gave birth to a second daughter in 1971 and remained a homemaker until her divorce in 1976. She lived in San Diego in 1979 to 1980 then returned to Billings and met Dean Batten in 1985 and married him in 1991. She was dedicated to her family. Beth will be missed by all of the hearts that she touched. She was a free spirit with a great sense of humor who enjoyed life. She is survived by her husband Dean, her sons Mark A. Cleasby, Thomas E. (Roxanne) Cleasby, Steven J. (Misty) Cleasby; grandsons Matthew Beeler, Kyle, Casey, Tanner, Tyren, Korbyn and Nolan Cleasby; granddaughters Autumn Krieg, Ashley George, Candice Hyer; 1 great grandson; 4 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Zachary Beeler, daughters Kim Larae Beeler & Karrie Ann Cleasby. Beth was a woman of faith and lived by Proverbs 3:5-6. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Chapel on Friday May 31 at 11:00 am. Public viewing Thursday 10 – 5 at Dahl Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
