Obituary
Angela was born on August 30, 1939, to Arthur and Susanne Pautler in Stratton, CO. She passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2017. She was the oldest of 6 children. She attended St. Scholastica Academy in Canyon City, CO and later attended Creighton University. It was while she was in college that she met her husband of almost 53 years, Wayne J. Beaner. They married on May 2, 1959, in Stratton. Their early years were spent in the Sioux Falls, SD, area. In 1976, Wayne took a job transfer with his company and moved the family to Billings, MT, where they resided until their respective deaths. Angie worked for Buttrey's and later Albertson's on 6th and N 27th Street in Billings from 1976 until she retired in 2002. She was also involved in Wayne's Knights of Columbus activities. Her favorite pastimes were spent sewing, gardening, and reading. Angie loved to travel, and went on many trips with her sister Elizabeth. She also traveled extensively with Wayne with his Knights of Columbus responsibilities. They especially looked forward to their annual reunion with the alumni of the 2000 KC State Deputies. Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Art & Sue, brother Leon, sister Elizabeth, and husband, Wayne. She was also preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Angela is survived by her brothers Gary (Terri) Pautler, Tim (Liz) Pautler, Paul (Janice) Pautler; her four children, Therese (Frank) Johnson of Denton, TX, Janet (Quentin) Bohrer, of Denton, TX, David (Kim) Beaner of Miles City, MT, and Lynne (George) Fairchild of Billings; her grandchildren, Monica Johnson, Sara (Chris) Jones, Angela Beaner, Andrea (Michael) Kuhn Sr., Michael (Amanda) Bohrer, Samantha Bukoskey, Cassandra (Louis) Parker, Jacob Beaner, Nicholas Beaner, and Katrina Beaner; her great-grandchildren, Jayde, Brooklynne, AvaLeigh, Hayden, Kyra, Cayne, Evelyn, Malachi, Michael Jr., Benjamin, and one pending arrival in November. Cremation has taken place. Vigil service will be Thursday, May 4th at 7 pm at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 5th at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following charities in Angela's name: Care & Share, Billings Catholic School Foundation, and Sacred Heart School in Miles City, MT.
