Patricia Ann McCartney, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings, Montana. She was surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully. Patricia "Pat" is survived by her husband Galen McCartney (Billings) of 59 years, daughters Denise Hollis of California, Twila Mann of Connecticut, Celeste Rott of Illinois, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. They also had a son Mitch McCartney deceased. No services are planned but Pat would like you to celebrate her life with memories.

My beautiful sister, I will miss her dearly,our little chats and who was going to get out and dig first in the spring.Always giving me new ideas about any thing and every thing.Her great outlook on life,even though she suffered with arthritis.She just kept going, planting,cooking,baking,,harvesting her garden crops.Such a busy little person.I am sure she will plant her tomatoes and flowers for St Peter.And will keep those Angels on their toes!

Martin Feeley--God Bless Pat! She and Galen were stabilizing influences in at least one young man's life many years ago. She mended my sleeping bag and maybe a little of my soul. I remember their home as a happy place and felt only acceptance from Pat whenever I was there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love and Peace, Martin & Mary Feeley

Mom never lost her sense of humor or her quick wit. One morning we were both looking out the kitchen window trying to see what the temperature was………………………I finally said, Mom I think its 2 degrees. What kind of temperature is 2? Mom replied – Two feet of snow, two long of winter, two darn cold. All before her first cup of coffee. I miss my mom, two.
