Shirley (Lambrecht) McJunkin, 77, of Red Lodge, MT, passed away on September 5, 2013, Shirley was born in Billings, MT on September 14, 1935. She graduated from Huntley High School. Shirley was married to Keith McJunkin on May 3, 1957. Shirley was an author with a passion for writing who publish four books. She was also actively involved in St. Agnes Catholic Church. Shirley is survived by daughter, Lorena, sons Keith(Andrea), Dan(Melissa) grandchildren Chandra(Brian), Cameron, Kylie, Mandy, Antia, Kohle, Malyn, great grandchildren Ethney, Bianca and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Shirley is preceded in death by parents Adam and Theresa Lambrecht, brothers Frank, Leonard, Donald, Leo, Harold, John, Dave and sisters Dorothy and Margie. Service: A vigil Service will be at 7 PM Tuesday, September 10 with a memorial service to be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 11 both at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Laurel. Father Bart Stevens will be officiating.

Both Shirley and Keith will always be in my heart. There never were two dearer people. Now Shirley is spending quality time with our Lord - someone she never quit serving, praying , or thinking about. Job well done girl. Say a few for us all! Condolences to her beloved Keith and much loved family. You were always her true joy! Polly.

Paul and I send our deepest sympathy to the McJunkin family. Shirley left much too early, but for her it is a more beautiful destination than she probably ever imagined. Shirley was for years a huge part of our church. Her happy spirit and willing hands were always put at the service of God and Saint Agnes Church. When we were short of cantors, she stepped up and asked me to help train her. She did a great job! She has left her memory all over the church and in our hearts. Thank you, dear Shirley. You are missed on this earth. May God keep you tight in His arms.

Jim and I extend our sympathies to Shirley's family at this sad time. Shirley was a wonderful member of St. Agnes Parish, serving as Altar Society president and also serving as a cantor at one time when the need was great. Shirley will be missed by all who knew her. My first message went through before I was finished so I hope you are able to retrieve it. I was so sorry to hear about Shirley and have good memories of her whether it was for business, visiting with her as one parent to another, or just seeing her out and about in Red Lodge. She was always plenty upbeat and I bought and enjoyed reading her first book. She was a special lady and will surely be missed!!
