His influence was often quietly applied and unknown to many. Without his invervention, my graduation from Eastern Montana College would probably never have happened. Assigned as my Senior Advisor, he was my Advocate and found ways to open closed doors at a desperate time in my life when I was ready to give up. I have since retired from a career of teaching Science. He was a fine influence in my life. Mac McIntyre - Lewistown

I met Bob and Bev many years ago when they came to minister at the church I attended. Their way of teaching and relating to those who attended was so heartwarming. They shared truths that changed my life in a profound way, for which I am eternally thankful. Blessings to each of the family as you gather together to celebrate all the accomplishments and the loving relationship each of you had with Bob and Bev (who is not far from your thoughts today as well, I would believe). God richly bless you! Doris Knudson-Tulsa, OK

Stuart and Helaine: We were sorry to hear of the passing of Stuart's father. The service was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful human being. I remember working with your dad at MSUB so long ago. He always had time for anyone who needed assistance. He truly made a positive impact on many many many lives. Hold tight to your memories and the lessons you learned. With warm regards, Steve and Trudy Collins

Bob and Bev were 2 of the most influential people in my Christian walk. I first met them when I was being a nanny for the family across the street from them, then learned more about this humble man when my sister's good friend worked as his secretary. Even though he saw very little of my sister, once he knew we were related he never failed to ask how she was doing when our paths crossed. Humility is the word I would use to describe Dr McRae. I am sure he is overjoyed to join his family and friends who have gone before, and to see His Savior face-to-face. My heart is with his family. Susanne Holt

While attending MSU-B, I received a Robert J. McRae Scholarship, and had the pleasure of meeting him and sharing lunch. He was a wonderful person, and I am forever grateful. May he rest in peace. Katherine Hoene
