Lindsey Beck

Our beloved daughter Lindsey Ann Beck, 24, of Billings, Montana passed peacefully and returned to God on December 29, 2010 at St. Vincent Healthcare from complications of leukemia. Lindsey was born on May 7, 1986 in San Diego, California. She subsequently lived in Dubuque, Iowa, Cape Girardeau, Missouri and has been in Billings since 1998. She also briefly lived and worked in Denver. Lindsey previously attended Trinity Lutheran School and is a 2004 graduate of Billings West High School. She has previously worked for Wal-Mart and Toys R Us. She was planning to attend art college, when she became ill in February 2010. Lindsey was gifted in the areas of art & design and computer science, as well as having a natural talent with music. She was an exceptionally kind and gentle person who also enjoyed nature, animals and the worlds beauty. She touched all those she met with her selfless nature. She possessed a high standard of morals and values. She was truly a gift and an example of some of Gods finest work. Lindsey is survived by her parents, Warren and Pamela Beck of Billings, paternal grandmother, Norma Beck of Greens Fork, Indiana, uncle Darrell (Laura) Beck and family of Richmond, Indiana, aunt Karen (Chuck) DeShazer of Topock, Arizona. She also has extended family members in Indiana, Washington and Colorado. Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lorraine Henderson and her paternal grandfather, Earl Beck. Many, many thanks to the numerous physicians, nurses and other supportive persons who were involved with Lindseys care at St. Vincent Healthcare, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Fred Hutchinson Center, University of Washington Medical Center, Lance Armstrong Foundation and Help Flight. Our heartfelt thanks and blessings to all our friends and colleagues for their prayers, kindness and continued support. Cemetery: Graveside respects will follow in Greens Fork. Service: No local services will be conducted in Billings. Lindsey will be transported and services will be conducted in Richmond via Doan & Mills Funeral Home on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
