Obituary
Nathaniel Gabriel Milne, 29 hours old of Columbus, MT passed away in his Mommys arms on May 21, 2011 at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Nathaniel was born on May 19, 2011 at 11:53 p.m. to Melody and Christopher Milne. He weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. The most beautiful, precious, perfect angel we have ever seen. During his short time here he touched the lives of so many. It truly is a blessing that we even got the time with him that we did. When he was born he showed no signs of life, no crying, no breathing, the nurse told us he had a heartbeat. He wanted to know us, he wanted to show us how much he loved us. Love is a magical thing. He perked up like nothing you have ever seen before. We could tell he wanted to know his family. By the time his brothers arrived in the room he was so alert, eyes wide open, responding to each of their voices, as if saying “I know you, I have been listening to you for the last nine months and I want to see who you are.” You could tell he loved each and every one of us with all of his broken heart. He showed us with expression and will to live. We know he wanted to be with us. We know he knows just how much we all love him. Nathaniel was blessed by the undying love of his grandparents, as they were equally blessed with his. Truly memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Our family will forever be touched by his life, by his spirit, his will to live just long enough to show us his love. Heaven has one precious angel that we will love forever. Nathaniel is preceded in death by grandfather, Earl Milne; great-grandfather Kyle Bush McLelland. Nathaniel is survived by his mother Melody; father Christopher; brothers Michael, Alexander, Christopher (CJ), Leonard, and Tanis; grandmother Buena McLelland; grandfather Leonard McLelland; grandmother Betty Milne; great-grandmother Lorene McLelland; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cemetery: Graveside service to follow at the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation: Viewing will be held at Dahl Chapel, 10 Yellowstone Ave, Billings, Wednesday May 25, 2011, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Service: Memorial Service will be at Evangelical Church, 2 E. 1st Ave. N. Columbus, MT, Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10 a.m.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have never seen such a beautilful baby with eyes that do say "I love you". May the memories of holding him hold you until you have him in your arms again.

Melody and Family, I know you don't remember me by name,but I was the lady that spoke to you in the Treasurer's Office about your baby boy. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since that day. To Aunt Lorene, Len, Dee, Melody, Chris, and families - I've been thinking about you all these past few days and just praying for you. The obituary was so beautifully and lovinging written. I know Nathaniel left his Mommy's arms and went right into the arms of Jesus. In time, the Lord will heal your broken hearts. And you can know that you will see your precious baby again in Heaven.
