Obituary
Elberta Morgan passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at her home in Billings, Montana. Elberta was born September 12, 1929 to Elbert and Grace Milam in Billings. Elberta attended school in Huntley and Billings, graduating from Billings Senior High. Elberta married Logan Wynne Morgan on July 11, 1948 in Billings. She was a secretary for several years and later she and Logan operated the Chrome Bar in Absarokee and then later opened the second Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Store in Montana in Billings. Elberta is survived by a daughter, Deborah Sailer (Robert) and one grandson, Patrick Logan Price (Angela) and two great granddaughters, Brooke and Morgan Price. She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Van Houten and Gladys Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Logan, her parents, two brothers, Wallace and Bernard Milam, two sisters Charlotte Bratcher and Dorotha de Graaff, and her granddaughter Cheryl Price. Service: Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at the Dahl Chapel. A private family service to be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers send donations to American Cancer Society, 1903 Central Ave., Billings, MT 59102 or the Montana Rescue Mission, 2822 Minnesota Ave., Billings, MT 59101.

Deb and Pat: I am so sorry to hear of Bert's passing. She was a wonderful person. We kept in touch all these years and I looked forward to her Christmas cards each year. I was lucky to have her as my first boss in the working world. She taught me a lot and helped make me who I am today. I have very fond memories of her and Baskin Robbins. She will be missed. Deb ... So sorry to hear Elberta passed away. I have very fond childhood memories of family get togethers and weekends spent at your house. Oh my gosh what a good cook Elberta was. I wish I could have been close to her in my adult life but as you know that wasn't ment to be. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hope to hear from you at Christmas as always ..... Dear Pat, Deb and family. Thank you, Pat, for your phone message. I have been on vacation and just got back to Montana today. I am so sorry I missed Thursday, as you all know, I would have been there. I would have called you back Pat, but you did not leave a number and your number is unlisted. I am so sorry about Bert's passing and my condolences go out to all of you. She was one of my dearest friends over the last 35 years! When she called last month to let me know she had it all planned and was selling her home and was ready, her and I had a wonderful last conversation, lots of laughs, and yes, tears on my part. Bert was an extremely strong, dear, and wonderful person! She loves you all very much and talked of you all often! You all are her pride and joy! You are all, also, dear and wonderful people! I am honored that I got to have Bert and Windy's friendship through all the ups and downs of life - they were always so kind and encouraging for me and my kids - they meant the world to me and I was always so thankful to know they were there for us. Pat, Patrick and your families I am so sorry to hear of Elberta's passing. It has taken me a while to put some words together. My world seems a little smaller and sadder without Elberta. I would turn to her for my business to get her perspective and of course I needed her words of wisdom this week..so I missing her so very much! She had everything planned and if she would of asked anything of me I would of stepped up. She wanted her family time these months and I honored that! When I spoke to Elberta she always kept me up on each of you..she was a proud Mom, Grandma, and even more...Great Grandma! Once again I am so sorry for your loss..know if you need anything please let me know!
