Obituary
Tom Morse, 73, died peacefully at St. Vincent Healthcare on November 13, 2010 with his family at his side.rn Tom was born the son of Philip and Neva Morse in Ft. Collins, CO on July 25, 1937. Graduating from high school in 1956, he joined the Army National Guard, and for four years was in the U.Ss Air Force then spent an additional four years in the U.S. Army.rn On June 4, 1960, Tom was united in marriage to Gail Linderman in Minot, ND. They moved back to Ft. Collins in 1961 where he worked for Poudre Valley Creamery. Later he joined the Poudre Valley REA and worked as a journeyman lineman for the next ten years. In 1974 the family moved to Billings where he began his career with Montana Power Company as a lineman, retiring in 2003. For the past five years, Tom and Gail had spent their winters in Yuma, AZ.rn Loved by children, Tom was known as “Cowboy Uncle Tom” and enjoyed watching the neighbor boys across the street at play. He loved all animals, especially his precious dog Buddy, birds, nature and history. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge and the American Legion.rn He was preceded in death by his parents. His older brother Leroy died in infancy. Tom leaves behind his wife of fifty years, Gail; daughters: Sheila (Dwayne) Carroll their children: Kaitlyn and Caleb; Michele (James) Perusich their children: Jessica and Josh; great grandsons: Dayton and Carlos; his brother Lance (Lois) Morse of Ft. Collins; brother-in-law Paul (Virginia) Linderman; sister-in-law Karolyn Linderman; Gails step-brother Richard (Dee) Bischoff; step-sister Shirley (Joe) Senger, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.rn The family would like to thank Dr. Christianson and the angels on staff at Frontier Cancer Center and the wonderful oncology staff at St. Vincent Healthcare for all their love and support. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1144 N 30th, Billings, MT 59101 or to PEAKS, c/o St. Vincent Foundation, 1106 N. 30th, Billings, MT 59101 Service: The Memorial service is on Tuesday, November, 16, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Harvest Campus Church, 1413 Rosebud Lane (Off the road to the Pictograph Caves.). Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
