As a member of the same medical unit in Billings, I have always had the deepest and greatest respect and admiration for (as I knew him) CAPT Mueller. He was always willing to listen, giving sage advise or swift verbal kick-though always with a wonderful sense of humor and grace. Wishing "Fair Winds and Following Seas" always.

Dear Carol and family, I was so deeply saddened to read of Ken's passing. Much too young! I did so enjoy being with you both on our Bethsaida dig in 1998. He certainly was a gifted and talented man. We will all miss him. With deepest sympathy, Donna Sweeney

Mrs. Mueller, Such a surprise! We just elected him to our Board of Directors. He would have been such an asset. He was an extremely interesting man. May you have comfort in this time of grief. Sincerely, Sam Studiner and the Board of BBPS

Ken and I were roommates at Carroll, and had lots of fun times. Reading The Pioneer recently gave me the bad news. Finally finding the obituary at this site, I was glad to see he had a happy as well as very productive life. Carol must be the gal I heard about way back in 1957-58, and I'd be glad to communicate with her. Although it is so late perhaps no one will be checking this Guest Book. I also remember meeting Ken's parents and brothers at Hustisford the time we went up to help open a new gas station, racing back to Carroll just in time to devour the Saturday night steak dinner. My condolences to all the family.

I just learned today of Ken Mueller's untimely death last year. He and I were classmates at Harvard Medical School, and, substantially because our last names were close in the alphabet, we shared many experiences in the first two years at "HMS". I enjoyed Ken's friendship and predicted - correctly - that he would be an outstanding doctor. I lost track of him when I stayed back a year to do research, and am now very sorry that I missed an opportunity to remain in touch with him Fondly, John Mills, Melbourne, Australia
