Marjorie Mulvihill

Marge E. Mulvihill, 84, of Billings, passed away peacefully after complications from pneumonia on October 5, 2010.Marge was born on December 29, 1925 in Minot, ND to Don and Vivian (Moldenhauer) Baker.Marge grew up in the Minot ND area. She married Frank Mulvihill on Jan. 8, 1944. They had four children before moving to Billings in 1952 where their fifth child was born.Marge provided care for multiple generations of children from birth to school age and remained long lasting friends with many of them. Marge was a comfort to so many parents while they worked to provide for their young families. When Frank retired he also joined in as a mentor and grandfather figure to many of the children.Marge is survived by her daughters, Susan McCall (Don) of Renton, WA; Dianne Padilla (Ezzy) of Oxnard, CA; Linda Mulvihill of Vancouver, WA; and Gloria Wrigg of Billings MT. Also by grandchildren: Steven Munson, Dan Munson (Kim), Doug Sperry, Leslee Stokes, Danette Eichele Carter (Matthew), Dane Eichele, and 10 great-grandchildren. Marge is also survived by one sister, Darlene Kortuem (Ray), two brothers, Carl Baker and Tom Davies, two sister in-laws Alice Schiele (Kenneth) and Gloria Mulvihill and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.Marge was preceded in death by her husband Frank, son Patrick, father Donald, mother Vivian Allison, step mother Grace Goebel, mother in-law Avis, father in-law Daniel, brothers Donald Jr., Kenneth, Melvin, and David, brothers in-law, sisters in-law and best friend for 50 years, Ruth Rogers.Many thanks to our extended family and good friends: PA, Connie and Curt, Louise and Roger, Jeannie, Marilyn, Emily, Sharon, Delphine, and many more.A Memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
