Obituary
Our beloved son Merrick was taken from us suddenly Saturday, November 20, 2010. Merrick will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends. He was full of so much energy that the family had to pass him off on one another so that they could take a break as he would wear us out faster then we could him. He could always make you happy no matter how bad of a mood you where in. He never liked people being sad or in a bad mood and would always do his best to make you smile. He was always finding new things to try and would never give up until he could accomplish them. Merrick is survived by his parents, Esmeralda & Patrick Negaard, brother Arlen, grandparents Richard & Diane Greer, Duane & Reena Negaard, and Vince Garcia as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and great-grandparents. The family wishes that you spend a day with your loved ones so that you can cherish each other. Cemetery: Internment in the Red Lodge Cemetery. Visitation: 2:00-4:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26 at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge Service: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27 at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Red Lodge.

Very sorry to read of the passing of your dear loved one Merrick. Having a child in the family, the parents experience emotions that are found in no others human relationship. Parents raise their children to live, not to die. When a child dies, the warm love and affection that flow from the parents to the child is cut off. The bible writer Paul described God as "the God who supplies endurance and comfort." God holds out a wonderful hope for all those in the grave. At John 11>25 Jesus said "I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCIES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES, WILL COME TO LIFE." The nine accounts of ones in the bible who were resurrected are a guarantee that the resurrection of others is possible. (jOHN 5-28,29) What a blessed reason to hope in God! With the gift of your memories of Merrick they will bring you great joy. When a loved one becomes a memory that memory turns into a treasure. To help with the grieving process I found three ways. Talking and writing about my feelings. Also reading the information in the bible about the resurrection. May you and yours lean on Jehovah God for the strength you need at this sad time.
