Obituary
Letha Mae Neuhardt, age 81 of Billings, formerly of Miles City, passed away Wed., Feb. 23 at Autumn Care Facility in Billings. She was born July 15, 1929, at Ayr, Nebraska, the daughter of Lee and Luretta Woods. The family moved to Montana in 1937 and settled in Miles City where she attended schools and graduated from Custer County High School in 1949. In 1953 she was united in marriage to Albert Neuhardt in Miles City. They lived for many years in Miles City. She did volunteer work, especially at the Veterans Hospital for which she received a 1500 hour award. She also cared for her husband, Albert for many years when his health failed and before he entered the VA Hospital. Letha was preceded in death by her husband in 1989, her parents and an infant sister, Lela Marie. She is survived by her step-son, Solomon Neuhardt of Billings, a sister, Sara Tschida of Bridger, 2 grandchildren, Julie (Major Chris)Jezenszky of USAF Base in Germany and Solomon Neuhardt II of Billings, 1 great-great granddaughter, Kate and a nephew, Martin Tschida of Bridger. Service: Cremation will take place with interment of ashes in Custer Co. Cemetery, Miles City at a later date.

DEAR RELATIVES OF LETHA, OUR CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU. WE LIVE IN MILES CITY,MT. WE HAD MANY COFFEE PARTIES AND GET TOGETHERS WHEN LETHA LIVED HERE. OTTO AND LETHA GRADUATED FROM CCHS IN 1949. HER HUSBAND HAD A SHOE SHOP ON SEVENTH STREET FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS OTTO'S UNCLE. WHEN LETHA AND RUTH NEUHARDT WERE IN I BELIEVE THE PRARIE VEIW MANOR I WOULD PLAY PIANO FOR THEM WHEN ELVERA CAME TO BILLINGS. MANY GOOD MEMORIES WAY BACK WHEN.
