Obituary
LaVoyle was born March 17, 1925, in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Harold and Laura (Sexe) Moore. They moved to Billings, Montana where she was raised with siblings, Minnie, Marge and Jack. In 1943 she graduated from Senior High School. LaVoyle worked at Coles Department Store. She met Donald George Orchowski and they were married September 25, 1950 in Reno, Nevada. Returning to Billings, Don and LaVoyle raised their family, JoAnn, Doug and Mark John. LaVoyle was proud that she provided a great family home. She always had 3 meals a day, was a talented decorator, always dressed stylishly (all matched and color coordinated) and her home was beautifully decorated. LaVoyle liked to read, decorate and shop with JoAnn. Later in life she loved to garage and estate sale and decorated with the items she found. After Don passed away, LaVoyle remained in Billings until 2004 when she moved to Fairfield to be near her son Mark. Seven years later she moved back to Billings to be near JoAnn and medical services. For 6 years she lived on her own until her health required her to move to Bella Terra. LaVoyle was a kind and thoughtful individual always appreciating the help and support she was given always saying “Thank you”. “There is no reason to be mean to anyone” was her motto. Preceding LaVoyle in death were her parents, husband Don, sisters; Minnie O'Donnell and Marge Herman and son Mark John Orchowski. Survivors include her brother Jack Moore, daughter JoAnn (Ed) Zabrocki and son Doug (Debbie) Orchowski. LaVoyle had 2 grandchildren; Matt and Andrea and 3 great-grand children. The family would like to extend a thank you to all the caregivers at St. Vincent Hospital and Bella Terra with a special thanks to Marcie for her care. LaVoyle was a lovely mother-in-law to me. We spent a great deal of time talking about her family and friend's. We garage saled and went to antique store's quit often and had a beautiful time exploring. She will be missed. God in heaven prepared a beautiful home for her and I know she is enjoying it. I spent many years with Grandma LaVoyle during our many trips to our 2nd home of Montana, I grew up with her. I'll always fondly remember watching the news together in the mornings, and our trips to the antique and thrift stores, and taking care of her lawn. We bonded closely as we were together on the horrible tragedy that was 9/11. I will never forget her, her will and strength. I was blessed to have her in my life for so many years. Rest in paradise with my Dad Mark, Grandpa Don and your parents and siblings. Love you- Your Matty

Ed and JoAnn, The Staff from Saint Vincent de Paul and myself extend our condolences during this time. They remember meeting LaVoyle when she was shopping at the store with Ed. Many times they would stop and say hello to me in my office e in the back room. We also enjoyed seeing her over Holiday's at Thanksgiving and Christmas. she enjoyed listening to our old crank recorded player at our house. May she rest in peace. Nick
