Frances Ott

Frances “Fran” returned home to her heavenly Father, December 7, 2016. Fran was born March 8, 1924, the daughter of John and Julia Schmidt in Mandan, North Dakota. The family journeyed to Billings in 1929 where they made their home. Fran married her lifetime love, Valentine, on February 14, 1942. She is survived by her son, Robert (Joy) Ott; two grandchildren, Roby Ott and Stefani (Ajmal) Rangbar; brother, Tony (Marlene) Schmidt; and her nieces and nephews. Preceding her in passing were: parents, Valentine, and sisters Lucille and Anna Mae. Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at noon. A reception will follow the mass service. Memorials may be made to Compassus.
