Marcia Owen

Marcia Jane Owen, 65, of Billings, passed away at her home Thursday, October 1st, 2015. She was born December 23, 1949 in Butte, Montana, the daughter of George Hossack and Esther Montana Vigus. She attended West High and later obtained her G.E.D. On December 27, 1967, she was united in marriage to Dale Arlen Owen. They lived in Butte, and Red Lodge before settling in Billings. Marcia's hobbies included CB Club, and attending events with the Purple Hat Ladies. Marcia also enjoyed puzzles, board games, bowling, bingo, making calendars, and watching grandkids enjoy different activities. Marcia is survived by her daughters, Darlas Lynn (Lem Chesmore), Diane Rebecca, Dessirae Armendariz (Lupe), Dawn Marie (Leoncio); sons Deven Alend (Kim) Owen, and David Lee Owen; sisters Rhonda Wessell-Martinez, Lori King, Heather Martin, Christine Kalebough, and Jeanne Hossack; brothers Ric Wessell (Carrie), John Wessell (Anna). Marcia also was survived by 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Owen; parents Esther Montana Vigus and George Hossack; grandparents William John Vigus and Mabel Jane Vigus. She also has other extensive family in Butte, Billings, Utah, California, Oregon, and Washington. Memorial Services will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, October 7th at 1pm, a pot luck dinner will be held after the service at 732 Howard Ave in Billings. Committal will be at the Luther Cemetery.
