Charles Parnell

Charles Edward Parnell, age 65, passed away on December 23, 2012 in Billings, Montana. Charles was born on January 16, 1947 in Arizona, the third of three sons to Robert Parnell, Sr. and Madeline Grass Parnell. He is survived by his two brothers, William and Robert Jr., as well as several nieces and nephews. Charles graduated from Billings Central High in 1965. He graduated from Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA with a B.S. in Pre Med, and was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the US Army in 1970. He was stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Subsequently, he was honorably discharged as a 1st Lt. As a disabled veteran, he lived in Billings his remaining years. Charles attended Eastern Montana College where he enrolled in several graduate level courses of interest to further his knowledge. Charles lived at Parkview Care Center, Billings these past two years. The family wishes to thank the staff for the care they provided to him. His wit and charming personality will be remembered. Arrangement for a graveside memorial service is being arranged by Dahl Funeral Chapel.
