I shared a career with Dennis on the Billings Fire Dept. Dennis was always laid back and didn't sweat the small stuff. I respected his duties as a " tunnel rat" in Vietnam. The courage that must have taken ! My heart goes out to Dennis's family and friends. Don Regnier

Family of Dennis Placek I wanted you all to know I shall miss this guy for whom I have know all my life! He also was a very loving, care guy who would help you out any time, no matter what. This Guy was someone to look up too in life and shall be missed by me and his Family and Friends for sure. Dennis even though he was having his own hard ships and struggles he was there to help us when his sister Carol passed away and we got together and did bake sale, and he floored me away totally when he turned around and bought a loaf of Banana Bread I had made for this event, for Big dollars 20.00, he also told me I love PIES and if you would have made them i would have bought all there was for sure, but it was an excellent cause and he would have done anything really he and his wife are very Generous people . Please know I am so sorry i can not come and celebrate his life at the Powder Horn , with you all but please know your all in my Heart and prayers, Love you all. Well Bud please enjoy your life with your sisters and rest of the Family up there in Heaven , and try to stay out of mischief, I shall miss you, and know someday when the Lord calls me home we shall see each other again. Dennis was a little boy the first time that I saw him.. His mother and dad were friends with my husband and me. His dad worked with my husband. We use to go camping and fishing as families together. When he was very little he got hit by a car. We sure was hoping that he wasn't hurt bad. He was always a friend of mine. He sure is going to be missed by a lot of people. I lost a son, and I'm sure this family is going to be at a lose with Dennis gone. He is in a safer time and in God's hands now. Rest in Peace, Dennis.
