Clarence Propp

Clarence E. Propp, age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born January 3, 1928 to Rudolph and Eva (Kautz) Propp in Worden, Montana. Clarence attended Sidney High School, Yankton College, University of Nebraska, State College of Iowa, and the University of Houston. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in June 1945. He was a public educator, and aerospace scientist and engineer. Clarence married the love of his life, Mary Magdalen Hudock, in San Antonio, on December 17, 1949. Clarence enjoyed helping others, spending time with family and friends, and loved to solve problems. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Don and his daughter Deborah. He is survived by his wife Mary, his children Jean Ann Saunders (Johnnie), Donna Metzer (Kent), his grandchildren Ronnie Saunders, and Tammy Wigley, his great-grandchildren Tamra Saunders, Joshua Emerson, Taylor Wigley, and Colter Wigley, and great-great-grandchild Ryker Lindley. A funeral service will be Thursday, July 23 at 1 PM at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.
