Obituary
Dennis “Denny” Duane Remmick passed away at his home, September 12, 2017 with his two daughters by his side. He was born January 20, 1945 in Billings, MT to Adam and Magdalena (Perman) Remmick. Denny attended West High School and was proud to be in the first graduating class of West High. He often told stories about working at KFC, Jolly Boy Drive-In and his many years managing the Federal Building Cafeteria. Denny loved garage saling, antique shops, the knife shop, fishing, bowling, going to his brother's cabin, watching his Atlanta Braves and going to Goodwill to see all of his ladies. He loved children, especially his grandchildren, and animals, particularly his dog Patience. Denny also loved clocks, money, candy and beer! Some of his favorite times were sitting around drinking beer with his friends and family. Denny adored his plants and his garden, especially his prized tomatoes. He loved cooking and making holiday dinner for friends and family. He was nuts about decorating for Christmas and threw many of the best New Year's parties ever. He was a wheeler and a dealer! He acquired multiple collections he was very proud of and loved to show them off. Denny is survived by his daughters Tammy Remmick and Tracey (Tim) Larsen; grandchildren Takia Remmick, Hailey Larsen, and Victoria Bailey; half-brother Albert (Billie) Krenzler, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am Monday, September 18, 2017 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment of ashes will take place later. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Residential Support Services, 2110 Overland Ave. #128, Billings, MT 59102 or the charity of one's choice. I have not seen Denny since we worked at the Big Boy Drive-In in 1965. He was a delight! We dated for a few months, and my memories of that time are wonderful. My sincere condolences to his family in their time of loss. Denny was loved by many, I am sure. He and his family will be in my heart and in my prayers. Lynn Knoefel Pinch

Even to the end, Denny was a rambunctious and fun loving gentlemen that I am glad to have called not only a colleague but a real friend. He was always a positive soul, and was truly a delight to be around. I will miss you friend. My deepest sympathies to his family and all who knew Denny. We will keep all in our thoughts and prayers. My Uncle Denny was one of the nicest people I knew. I moved to Seattle in 1984, so my memories of him are from when I was a teenager. When my Dad (Alvin Krenzler, Denny's half-brother) would ground me, he would make me go with him to Uncle Denny"s house where a group of friends and family played poker. Uncle Denny always made sure I was okay and would tell my Dad to not be so hard on me. I would also get to visit with my Uncle Denny at the Federal Building when my Mom (Vivian) was working for him. Uncle Denny would introduce me to different people coming through the line, and they all commented on what a wonderful job he did. After my parents died and I moved to Florida (1994), I stopped coming to Billings to visit as often. However, when I did see me Uncle Denny (usually in the summer) he would always show me his garden. He had the best tasting yellow pear tomatoes I've ever had in my life. My Uncle Denny was a special person and he will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Tammy, Tracey, and their families.

I worked with Denny at the Jolly Boy Drive In back in the 60's. I really enjoyed working with him and his brother Ervin. He was a hard worker as well as a good friend back then. Denny had a kind heart and would do everything to help a person in need. Prayers go out for his family. He is in Gods hands now. Thank You, Mickie Bailey
