Jim married my husband and I on 3/3/2001 at an outdoor ceremony by the briarwood. A beautiful ceremony and a marriage that has lasted over 18 years!!! Jim was also my counselor starting first in 1989 as I went thru a divorce and I saw him off and on many times since then. he was always so kind and happy to see me. He listened and was so helpful as I went thru life and had struggles. He was wise beyond his years and anyone who knew him knew the gentle kindness he had for all human beings!!! I will miss him so much. My heart goes out to his wife and family. He will be very missed.

Not only did I have Jim as a Teacher, I was able to teach with him--we went on to work Searches and guide young people to Our Lord. He was one of a kind and I will miss him. RIP my friend.

I am saddened to hear of Father Jim as I knew him and as a counselor. He was great in all his endears and I know of no one that does not love this man and the many memories we have of life with him. He married my son and his lovely wife . Many dockings took place while he was here to assist and enjoy the fun. Just so many many memories that we will always treasure. God speed Jim you will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you. My deepest sympathy to your wife Pat and all of your loved ones.

Father Jim (I'm sorry, Jim, I will always think of you as "Father") was a good teacher, pastor, friend, and counselor to my family. He taught me Senior religion at Sacred Heart High School, he officiated at my wedding, he counseled my brother, and his visit to my aging parents was the highlight of my father's last summer. Many, many families have the similar stories to tell. A couple years ago, we met him in Billings for dinner and I was privileged to meet Pat. My heart goes out to you and your family. Jim favorably touched the lives of young and old, using his God-given gifts extraordinarily well. "Well done, my good and faithful servant. . . Come, share your master’s joy" (Matt. 24:21).
