Lelah was a dear friend of our Mom, Daisy. I'm sure they are both quilting again together in heaven. Our prayers and sympathy go out to all the family. She was a very kind lady.

Dear Family, I was sad to read this. Not, but a few days ago I ran into Corrine, and I thought how nice it was to see her; and now this. I thought that the obit you kids wrote was so great. It fit your mom to a "T". I remember when our folks would party like teenagers, dancing and carrying on. Oh the good old days, hu:?! Knowing that your mom was ill, I am sure she is not in any pain now, and yes, dancing among the clouds with your dad..and boy, could they dance. Just know that my thoughts are with you. Even though I am far away, I will be with you all in my heart. Leah was larger than life when I was a wee girl of 5 or 6, and Ted was just life itself! I am richer for having had them both in my life for all these years. Dance the tide Lelah & Ted, dance the tide.

I had the privilege of meeting Lelah just once but I heard many wonderful stories through the years from family members. In my brief experience with Lelah she was everything and more than what I had been told. A truly kind and beautiful soul. I know that she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
