He retired from Carquest as President. Chuck and Mavis enjoyed traveling to many countries around the world. They spent several winters in either Arizona or Hawaii and summers at Seeley Lake. Chuck enjoyed praising family and friends who cooked a good meal with a “you should open a restaurant” as a sign of his love and appreciation. He was also known to treat the family to lunch by enjoying the free samples at Costco. He loved making pancakes for his family, sneaking his grandchildren way too many peanuts and working on his tan while fishing. Chuck was a fan of the Colorado Rockies, they shared the same initials, as well as the Phoenix Suns and Denver Broncos. He was a talented self-taught wood maker who left behind handmade furniture and other décor for his family to forever cherish. Chuck was a Third Degree Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his and Mavis' four children: Nancy Hollar (Mike) of Gilbert, AZ; Marsha Sampson (Tim) of Billings, MT; Charlene Huffield (Mitch) of Lewistown, MT and Randy Romee of Lake Jackson, TX; and sister Margret Frazer of Billings. I have so many memories I could write a novel . I will never forget his smile and swift thinking with fast remarks that could light up a room with laughter and love. Chuck was a man of many wonders and could melt someone's heart with a simple chuckle and hello. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to care and provide for such a funny fello. I was his angel without wings and he reminded me everyday. We were alot alike strong minded, feisty, but had a bond noone could deny. Now you are free flying reunited with your queen of angels Mavis and have become our angel with true wings. Love you Chuck Aka Nice Guy
