Uncle Don will be missed. He was a very special Uncle. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. One of the things about our family gatherings I will always remember was the time we all went camping in Chug water Wy. Patrick and I stayed in a horse barn with a peep hole into the next room. (which we thought was quite convenient) and then coming out to the campsite after everyone was awake, and the neighbors next to your camper left their screen open to their back window, and when I arrived Uncle Don told me "Don't look John." Well, the rest is history. I am sure I don't need to go into detail. You were all there. Thanks for the great memories John

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family on the loss of your dad. He was a great man with a great smile! Your house was always the "fun house" in junior high and high school. Your parents put up with lots of us...always with love and laughter. I so admired his "retirement" years. He never stopped helping people, and was always there to lend a hand to anyone that needed it.

just finished reading the announcement. What a great man Don Ryan was for doing all this volunteer work to help the poor and spreading the word of protecting unborn human life. I really admire him for his determination and service to great causes. For someone with such a wonderful character and dedication to the service of God, humanity and religion surely deserve to be in his new everlasting home in the kingdom of heaven. Please pass our condolences to all the Ryan family and friends. We are so sorry for your big loss. Hikmat & Feryal Yacu Glenview, IL

Don was a wonderful man and helped the Diocese of Eastern Montana in many ways. He was our KC "go to man" and could be counted on to help with any project. I know he will be with God and fulfill the same duties in heaven as he did on earth. We have lost a wonderful, kind, caring and giving person, and are better for having known him. My condolences to the family. Laurie Horton, Executive Assistant, Diocese of Great Falls-Billings
