The Beck/Ryan family of Chicago are sorry to hear of Mary Ellen's passing. We fondly remember her visits to Chicago an enjoyed seeing her and Aunt Eileen in Los Angeles. Our family has been overwhelmed with deaths the past few years. God bless you all and all of our family who are in God's arms.

I just saw the notice today in the Billings Gazette from June 15. Very sad to know, but it does bring back memories of my arrival in Red Lodge in May 2000. I contacted the Red Lodge Hiking Club and Mary was on many of the hikes with wonderful tips and stories about nature and her family. Her great nephews and nieces are very lucky to have had Mary for an aunt. She seemed very comfortable sharing her adventures with them and I hope their view of the world is better for it. Enjoy those memories and know she was special to many people. My best wishes to you all, ~ Wanda

Mary was part of the Red Lodge Hiking Club for several years. She was a great hiker. It was fun to hike w/her and hear her tell of her trips and other interesting activities.
