Mavis Ryan, 89, of Billings, died at her home December 1, 2016. She was born in Tabor, South Dakota April 10, 1927. Being born during the depression, she was on her own at the age of 14. She worked at a café and lived in a boarding house. She married Bill Ryan in 1951. To this marriage were born 3 sons: Patrick, Thomas and Michael. She joins her parents, husband Bill, and son Patrick. Mavis leaves behind sons Thomas and Michael; daughters-in-law Sally and Sue; grandchildren Ryan Meza; Sean, Erin and Shaun Ryan; Sheena Wentz; great-grandchildren Arcie, Chente and Ellie Meza; Abigail and Mackenzie Wentz. A celebration of Life and wake will be held June 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Lions Den. Memories may be shared at www.dahlfuneralchapel.

We are so blessed to of had Mavis in our family ,She may not of been blood relative but she was one of the family .We are going to miss her and our visits out on the porch in the spring and summer .She always said she look at Darold as a brother and they are together again in heaven , along with Pat and her husband and family . So come June 14 we will not only be celebrating Mavis ,but also Darold's Birthday .We love you Mavis ,give Dad a hug for us . Kevin & Brenda Vincvelette & Family
