Obituary
A bright light has left us today leaving behind family and friends; David Lee Sabe passed away Wednesday, February 10th, 2016. He was born July 23rd, 1963 in Billings MT. We'll miss Dave's smile, gruff voice, and familiar vehicle that he found such freedom in. The Lord's vehicle has retrieved his son from this world and healed him from his pain. Dave leaves behind his son D.J., his daughter Ambyr, his brothers LeeRoy (Kathy), Arthur, and is preceded in death by his mother Eugenia, his father Arthur and his older step brother John Skates. O, Lord, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life. Dave, you will be missed. Mass will be held at 12pm Thursday, February 18th, 2016 at St Patrick Co-Cathedral; followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

I regret that I will be unable to attend David's funeral on Thursday at the Cathedral because of a prior commitment. I have known David for approximately twenty two years. We all have our burdens in life. I admire the way David carried his. He was a frequent visitor at St. Pat's. He came regularly to talk with friends and also to pray. I have had many conversations with David. May he rest in peace and in God's safe keeping. Fr. John Houlihan

I would often cross paths with David at St. Pat's, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, or the chapel at St. Vincent's. He seemed to be a very fervent prayer warrior and I will miss seeing him around. He and his family are in my prayers.
