Obituary
Jan F. Schoonover, 78, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2012 at his home in Billings, Montana. He was born April 8, 1933 in Lima, Ohio. On October, 26, 1978 he was married to Alice B. Tesch in Billings. He worked as a salesman, boat builder, was a record setting boat racer, guest ranch owner and outfitter and also a leather artist. He loved hunting, attending to his roses, working on his leather projects and also studying the word of God. Most of all he enjoyed spending time together with his wife Alice. Jan is survived by his wife Alice; daughters: Cheryl (Randy) Bowers and Susan Schoonover; son, Dan (Noreen) Schoonover; sister, Jill (Bob) Wolf; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Edna Schoonover and son Terry Schoonover. Service: Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2 at Dahl Funeral Chapel with interment at Terrace Gardens.
