Obituary
Caron M. Schultz passed away at 10:20 am, on Sunday April 24, 2016. She was born on August 31, 1942, in Mountain Lake, MN to Jacob and Gertrude Dick. She lived in Minnesota and New York during her life, but her home was Shepherd, MT. Caron attended Bethel College in Kansas, and Graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a degree in Sociology. Caron was a talented seamstress, a devoted wife, and a fantastic mother to her 4 children and later worked at the Rimrock Foundation. Caron proudly considered her main career as that of being a mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Gertrude and her husband Harold. Caron is survived by her sister Carol Andrews and her four children, Doug Schultz, Chris Wallen, Jeff Wallen, and Sara Hancock as well as her six grandchildren, Megan Schultz, Benjamin Wallen, Avery Wallen, Ella Wallen, Henry Hancock and Neil Hancock. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 4:00pm, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on 24th St in Billings. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the Billings Symphony to honor Caron's great love and support of music. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

I am so sorry for the loss or your Mother. Caron was a very special lady to me and we have kept in touch for all these years. She was so talented and I am so lucky to have known her. She always had something nice to say and I appreciated her cards at Christmas and otherwise. She did a great job raising you wonderful children and her spirit will live through each of you. I will miss her even though our communication was mostly through the mail. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. It is nice to see her beautiful picture once again. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, my aunt. I enjoyed the many conversations with her over lunch when my parents would come to Billings & get together with Caron. I'm so glad we had a good relationship with her over the years. I regret that we won't be able to go to the memorial service due to a previous family commitment the same time as the service but I want all of you to know that you will be in our thoughts & prayers. Marsha Kaehler All little girls have special girl cousins they admire, Caron and Carol were ours. Caron always treated us with kindness. I have many fond memories of the family get togethers at our Grandma's house in Mountain Lake. MN. All of us cousins ate together in Grandma's sunroom, without the grown-ups. We could laugh and talk all we wanted. I was lucky enough to live in Eau Claire, WI (in the 1970's) when Caron's Mother lived there.
