Obituary

Frances E. (Reiter) Scott - ”Fran” On a cold wintry Valentine's Day, February 14, 1939 Frances Elaine Reiter was born to Philip and Pauline Reiter in a small wooden frame house in Worden, MT. She was raised on a farm and many times quoted “I wouldn't trade my up- bringing on the farm for anything.” It was a good life and she learned to work very hard. She graduated from Huntley Project High School in Worden. She planned and organized every five year class reunions with the help of her classmates. She is survived by daughter Terresa Stowell (Jay Watson) of Worden and Tamela Morrison (Larry) of Custer. A son, Timothy Krum preceded her in death. She married the love of her life, David Dean Scott in 1998. She held a variety of jobs in her lifetime which included secretarial; accounting, and owner/operator of three restaurants. She delighted in decorating cakes. She later specialized in baking for a retirement facility and deli. After finally “retiring” she took up oil painting. She delighted in giving her art works to her family and friends and also many times contributing pieces for charity auctions. She enjoyed attending the grandchildren's sports and concerts. She was very proud of them all. She thoroughly enjoyed fishing with her husband on the Big Horn River and often times out fished him. (But that was because he had to row the boat!) She is survived by her loving husband, David; her daughters and sons-in-law; grandchildren Raven Card; Robert (Cid) Morrison, Jamie (Allen) Lemon; great-grandchildren Ollivia and Alexandrea Morrison; Bryce and Amelia Lemon; step-children Ricky (Sue) Scott, Kyle; Deanna (Ed) Collins, Glenn and Casey. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Strobbe and Phyllis (Ed) Weidinger and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Her son, Timothy, parents, grandparents, and her brother Sam Reiter proceeded her death. Vigil service will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel Thursday August 23rd Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church Friday August 24th Reception to follow in church basement following service. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Fran's wish is for everyone to “Love One Another”.

David, and All Families, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your love. Franny was a beautiful soul. She was always there to help when and where needed. Fran was a wonderful friend. We met when we went to Jr High School and kept in touch all these years. Every 5 years post graduation she planned the class reunions. As sick as she was she was there for the 60th last year. Our Deepest Sympathy to all of Franny's families, With LOVE and PRAYERS, Don & Ruby Howe
