Obituary
Elmer H. Sieck passed away on September 22, 2012 at the age of 99. He was born on August 18, 1913 at Emerald, Nebraska. He received his education in Nebraska and was a farmer northwest of Lincoln, Nebraska. He served as a volunteer fireman, fire board member and was active on various church boards. Elmer was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Malcolm, Nebraska. He lived for 95 years in Nebraska prior to moving to Billings, Mt. to be near his daughter and family. Elmer was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda; parents and two brothers, Walter and Milton, and one sister, Minnie. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Frank Felke, Billings, MT; son and daughter-in-law, Roger & Kay Sieck, Omaha, NE; three grandchildren, Pat (Nancy) Felke and Alan (April) Felke from Washington and Lynn (Royal) Caraveau, Billings, Mt.; and three great grandchildren. Family would like to thank the staff and friends at Mission Ridge, Vista and Transitional Care Cottage. He received excellent care from the staff. During the short four years he lived in Billings, he was proud of his friends at St. John's. Service: Dahl Funeral Chapel was in charge of local arrangements with Volzke Funeral Home handling funeral services and burial in Nebraska.

My condolences. It was by chance I saw the notice today which brought back fond memories of the Sieck's and Malcolm. I was a neighbor of Walter and Lavrene for many years growing up. Sorry for your loss, Todd Knispel Library Director Dawson Community College Glendive, MT
